Cheeky Little Chuck: June 2014

My blog is in memory of my lovely cheeky little cockerel Denzil. (Named after one of my favourite actors) He died last autumn. I never thought a little chicken could have such a presence in our family life, but he did!

I really miss his crafty little visits into our house, watching him perch on the log basket in the kitchen and warming himself next to the fire or the sight of him running across the lawn when he heard me opening the back door on returning home from work. He loved a cuddle and a fuss and I have happy memories of him sat between my daughter and I, enjoying a spot of sun while we crafted away.

I work full time but enjoy making lots of things and hope to share this on my blog. I shall endeavour to post at least once a week and would be more than happy to share information, provide any help and to share lovely things and ideas that I come across.

Baby blues!

Apologies for the lack of blogging. I've a rotten cold and have had tonsilitis. I thought my cold had gone but its come back with avengence to add sinutis and teeth ache. On a more positive note I've finished my baby knitting for my friend and here are the finished articles.

One Completed Prom Dress !

It's all finished. Butterflies completed and stitched. Sparkly shoes have arrived too.

I've ordered some lovely rowan felted wool in violet. My next big summer project for the holidays is going to be Rowan 's hawthorn cape. I can't wait ...
